The vision upon which the Stallion Group has been built began with its inception as a guarding company in 1991. Stallion’s key objective at the time was to provide our clients with the peace of mind that comes with knowing that they had entrusted their security to a group of people who were relentlessly committed to delivering on their promises – and surpassing them.

B-BBEE Approach
Since 1994 government embarked upon a comprehensive programme to provide a legislative framework for the transformation of our economy. Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) has become the most important focus point in the businesscommunity.
Our commitment to B-BBEE is purely not a compliance box-ticking exercise. The Stallion Group acknowledges the imbalances of the past and recognizes the importance of a meaningful BBBEE Strategy with the goal to stimulate the process of participation of previously disadvantaged groups in the economy to lead to increased economic growth. The only way to truly implement transformation is for companies to grow capacity internally and learn how to manage their own scorecard and all related initiatives.
Implemented correctly B-BBEE can benefit a wider audience, help define the company’s culture and improve the company’s image and status as a Good Corporate Citizen. We understand the value that we need to add by attracting, retaining and developing historically disadvantaged individuals who can add value to both the organization and the country. The Stallion Group has an exceptionally strong sense of the importance of B-BBEE.
We have made our commitment to B-BBEE a central tenant of our business strategy. Key policies and company objectives are in place to ensure that we not only reach numerical targets and but go beyond the requirements of the government framework. The Stallion Group’s transformation success over the years can predominately be placed on its outlook towards B-BBEE, in that it’s not enough to only comply with the “letter of the law” but to place priority and focus on the “spirit of the law” in continuously achieving its transformation goals.
To ensure compliance with the criteria as set out by the Department of Trade and Industry Codes of Good Practice, the Stallion Group makes use of the Express Verification Services(EVS)1 rating system to conduct B-BBEE audits on a yearly basis.
