The Stallion Learning Centre embraces and instills not only a culture of learning and development but reinforces the ethos of “service excellence through discipline, dedication and development.”
Learning is the “magic” that makes us who we are.
Established more than 10 years ago to provide training at the standard demanded by the Stallion Group and other forward looking security companies and organisations, the Learning Centre boasts a dedicated group of professional education, training and development practitioners who provide learning opportunities utilising approved facilitation and assessment programmes.
The Centre interfaces with operations in order to provide workplace based learning and development.
It provides for the application of knowledge and skills as well as providing advanced learning opportunities to all members of staff.
The Stallion Learning Centre provides accredited capacity building in computer literacy, driving skills, life skills and distance learning programmes through UNISA for industry specific qualifications.

This results in
- Low staff turnover and greater client satisfaction; and
- Staff members with multiple competencies enabling them to do more than security officer-work alone.
Specific programmes include:
- Private Security Industry;
- Regulatory Authority Grade E to A training including, Retail, Hospitality and Banking;
- Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM UK) supervisory and management programmes; and
- POSLEC SETA accredited firearm training programmes.

Stallion Security Training Centre is an accredited training provider and is registered to present the Qualification- Saqa ID:58577 Title: General Security Practices – NQF Level 3. (124 CREDITS)
For applicants who have an interest in the security industry, we offer the Stallion Security learnership program as their stepping stone to build their future career. The learnership is available only for applicants who meets the following requirements;
- Citizen of South Africa,
- Unemployed,
- Aged between 21 and 27,
- Grade 12 qualification/ NCV Level 4
- Clean criminal record.
Currently we are recruiting learners from the following residential areas:
Ekurhuleni region: permanent residents of the East Rand that covers Springs, Tembisa, Boksburg, Benoni, Germiston, Katlehong, Thokoza, Pretoria – Mamelodi and surrounding areas
Vaal – close to Sebokeng area
Johannesburg/Alexandra and surrounding areas.

Latest Learnership:
Candidates who meet the criteria above are requested to submit their curriculum vitae to, Daves@localhost. Applications can also be done online at Stallion Security website https://www.stallion.co.za. The learnership opportunity is given to unemployed learners to attend a 12 month learnership program. The learnership will be split to theoretical (30%)and practical training (70%), hence qualified learners obtain better insight about what they should do within the industry.
Apply For Stallion Learnership Program
Once the learnership is completed, successful learners will gain national qualification (NQF level 3) in general security practices. The program gives qualified learners an opportunity to be part of a functional environment as security officers in a forward moving, leading security company.
Roll out plan:
The programme is rolled out over a one year period with the following criteria:
1st month:
a. Psira Grade E
b. Psira Grade D
c. Psira Grade C
d. Company induction
2nd month:
a. Phase 1 of qualification – 12 unit standards
3rd month:
a. Phase 2 of qualification- 12 unit standards
Practical phase/workplace experience- this will take place after each month of training. Learners will be sent to one of our sites and be mentored by a manager/site supervisor to achieve practical competence.
